Thank you for sharing! I both admire and envy you (in the best possible way). One of my favorite quotes is “I am going to make everything around me beautiful - that will be my life.” (Elsie de Wolfe). You embody that - thank you for constantly inspiring.

Found you on YT a few months ago and was captivated by your fundamental objectives for the channel, your approach, delivery and getting me to see the beauty in simple things - but I also like to indulge my spirit in the beautiful and frankly indulgent.

Signed up for’Notes from Nicholas’ straight away as I have no doubt you will be successful if you write as well as you communicate.

Warmest good wishes.

Every season of our life has a purpose. When one door closes another is opened. Today you are stronger and more at peace with your life as a result of your past. You did not become bitter and withdrawn, but took on your new challenges with determination and grace. Congratulations for the positive impact on your own life and the life of others that know you ,for the wonderful person you are. Thank you for sharing this part of your life journey with all of us.

Same here with all the crime and world literally falling apart. I think his voice and videos would be perfect before bed with a hot cup of tea or whatever one prefers. He literally is so elegant and well spoken. Love him and he is such a treasure in such a sad world.

I think our lives are a series of chapters with something to be learned from each one. You are a resilient chap and when you were at your lowest ebb, you found it within yourself to get back up an reinvent yourself. So many of us have been there. You are inspiring and you have carved a nice niche for yourself . Wishing you every success.

I wonder whether it would be a good idea to have an audio version…. I follow several people who have both and it seems to have worked out very well for them just an idea.

Thank you so much for sharing. I was also in a really long term relationship and had to learn how to live by myself, fight sadness and learn how to love myself again. Sometimes through the most difficult times the best things happen. Now I am super happy single, thriving on my career, traveling and focusing on what is important.

I absolutely love your YouTube channel. You are an inspiration.

Keep up the amazing work. Much more better things will happen to you. You deserve it.

This makes me like and respect you more. It's amazing what assumptions we as people make. Looking at you, you seem (and sound) like you came from money and had an easy life. Kudos to you for re-building the life of your dreams but still maintaining your humility and kindness. It's only up from here 💕

Nicolas, I truly enjoy all you bring to social media. You invite us into your life and home on a weekly basis and albeit it’s not easy to do, you however do it with grace and wonderful style. I love your simplistic nature, and design. It’s welcoming. Looking forward to see what you bring next.

Viel Glück 🍀 und Erfolg with love Michael

Your YT channel is a delight to my week for the last 3-4 years when I began watching. Even though you spoke of long-term relationship you never went into too much detail and there was always much respect for that. This was a beautiful reflection and perhaps the most perfect time to share because your achievements are highlighted by your experiences that swungs between fear of the unknown to accolades of success. Well Done very inspiring!

Similar story but mine was 11 years, I was the breadwinner and he found love with meth and his drug dealer. While I was busy at a job I hated making money for us to live, he was at first buying meth and when that amount of meth he could get away with simply would not do, he started having sex with his meth dealer for the drug. After 11 years with someone and knowing their habits for 11 years, you know when sudden changes in habits occur and something is afoot. It took me about a week to find out what was going on and ending it. That happened in 2014, it was my last relationship. I'm now 60, those days are in the past.

I am 53 and sending you all the best as I think most of us have had to deal with something near this. I hope and wish you better and more in this life. I also wish you all the happiness and joy you can have in this world. I too, have been here as well and totally understand. Now I love being alone and doing my own thing in my own way and in my own time and space. It's very liberating. God Bless.
